Why us? Because Experience Matters!

Jeff Richter, has years of experience in the restoration and repair profession. He has been restoring furniture since he was a teenager, when he started his apprenticeship under Steve Sherman of L.P Sherman & Sons located at 48th & Grand Avenue in south Minneapolis. He quickly found his love of the woodworking trade and excelled under Sherman's mentoring.

Tony and Jeff met through their respective work when Jeff worked for Sherman and they became friends. Tony managed The Yankee Artisan in Plymouth. After Mr. Sherman retired, Jeff went to work with Tony at the Yankee for the year before Anthony's was opened.

In 1987 Anthony's Furniture was opened with Jeff by Tony's side. Later that year, Jeff opened his own full service shop, Richter Furniture Restoration. The shop was first located in Minneapolis and for the last ten years, in Siren WI. During this time Jeff remained "The Repairman" for Anthony's. In 2014 Tony retired and turned to Jeff as a trusted friend and colleague to buy the shop, knowing that he would continue to provide quality service and outstanding results, living up to the reputation that Anthony's has developed over the years.
